It&#8217;s up to the Power Rangers to stop her and her evil henchmen.<\/p>\n<p>She was portrayed by Japanese actress Machiko Soga in the original series which the American show then used footage from and dubbed her voice over using American actress Barbara Goodson.<\/p>\n<p>Repulsa is one of the most well-known <em>Power Rangers<\/em> villains, along with Lord Zedd, so it&#8217;s exciting for fans that she&#8217;ll have a big part in the film.<\/p>\n<p>Banks is known for her roles in films like <em>The Hunger Games, Pitch Perfect,<\/em> and <em>The LEGO Movie.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Power Rangers,<\/em> directed by Dean Israelite, is set to debut on January 13, 2017.<\/p>\n<p>What do you think of Elizabeth Banks&#8217; casting?
