While Toy Fair 2016 is in full swing, the Toy Industry Association (TIA) hosted the 16th annual Toy of the Year (TOTY) Awards<\/strong> and named the best of the best in toys and games from 2015.<\/p>\n

Known as the “Oscars” of the toy industry, one of the biggest winners of the show was Star Wars<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

It went home with the Property of the Year award, as well as Boy Toy of the Year award for the LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Millennium Falcon<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Those are big prizes, although not surprising given the huge year Star Wars<\/em> had in 2015. They even had a whole day dedicated to new collectibles called Force Friday!<\/p>\n

Other winners included Hasbro’s Pie Face! Game<\/a>, Disney Infinity<\/a>,<\/em> and two awards for Doc McStuffins<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n
