Developing a Harley Quinn Film, Thanks to Margot Robbie"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Suicide Squad<\/em> is months away from release, but already there are reports of a spin-off film for Margot Robbie&#8217;s <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com\/hitlist.asp?searchfield=harley%20quinn&amp;utm_source=ee-blog&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_campaign=entertainment\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Harley Quinn<\/a>.<\/strong> However, this isn&#8217;t the typical story of a spin-off film.<\/p>\n<p>According to <em>The Hollywood Reporter,<\/em> Warner Bros. is working on developing a movie centered around the colorful Gotham citizen at the behest of star Margot Robbie.<\/p>\n<p>When she got the role and began to do her research, she fell in love, or so the report goes. Wanting to explore her further, Robbie began working with a writer on a script and presented it to WB.<\/p>\n<p>However, Robbie didn&#8217;t just fall for Harley Quinn &#8211; she became enchanted by several of DC&#8217;s female characters, namely Batgirl and the Birds of Prey, who may also make appearances in the film in some capacity.<\/p>\n<p>A Harley Quinn film makes sense, especially if Robbie&#8217;s depiction is well-received come August. WB has been struggling with their DC films, but Harley is a universally popular character and there&#8217;s no doubt fans want to see more of her.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll first be able to see Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn in <em>Suicide Squad,<\/em> which is set to hit theaters on August 5.<\/p>\n<p>Would you like to see a solo Harley film?
