{"id":45282,"date":"2016-06-13T10:04:41","date_gmt":"2016-06-13T17:04:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com/news\/?p=45282"},"modified":"2019-03-06T10:21:55","modified_gmt":"2019-03-06T18:21:55","slug":"disney-moana-first-teaser-trailer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com/news\/disney-moana-first-teaser-trailer\/","title":{"rendered":"Check Out the First Gorgeous and Adventurous Teaser Trailer for Disney&#8217;s Moana"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last night at the Tony Awards we got our first, brief look at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com\/disney.asp?utm_source=ee-blog&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_campaign=entertainment\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Disney&#8217;s<\/a> upcoming film <em><strong>Moana.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a longer version, featuring a really fun look at Dwayne Johnson&#8217;s character, the demigod Maui:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/C6PbWhWGUrY\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The animation, unsurprisingly, looks gorgeous and it&#8217;s not a big stretch to assume this will be another hit for Disney.<\/p>\n<p>Featuring music from Lin-Manuel Miranda (who took home several awards at the Tonys last night) and more, this already looks like a fun adventure and I can&#8217;t wait to see it.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the official synopsis:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Three thousand years ago, the greatest sailors in the world voyaged across the vast Pacific, discovering the many islands of Oceania. But then, for a millennium, their voyages stopped \u2013 and no one knows why.<\/p>\n<p>From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes \u201cMoana,\u201d a sweeping, CG-animated feature film about an adventurous teenager who sails out on a daring mission to save her people. During her journey, Moana (voice of Auli\u2019i Cravalho) meets the once-mighty demigod Maui (voice of Dwayne Johnson), who guides her in her quest to become a master wayfinder. Together, they sail across the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous monsters and impossible odds, and along the way, Moana fulfills the ancient quest of her ancestors and discovers the one thing she\u2019s always sought: her own identity. Directed by the renowned filmmaking team of Ron Clements and John Musker (\u201cThe Little Mermaid,\u201d \u201cAladdin,\u201d \u201cThe Princess &amp; the Frog\u201d) and produced by Osnat Shurer (\u201cLifted,\u201d \u201cOne Man Band\u201d), \u201cMoana\u201d sails into U.S. theaters on Nov. 23, 2016.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Are you looking forward to this new Disney flick?
