Launched last year, the Nerf Doomlands 2169 series<\/a> takes a role-play approach to traditional Nerf blasters. After an asteroid crashes into Earth, civilization has to begin again, with survivors battling against raiders and monstrous creatures to defend their lives. Doomlands is a fusion of sci-fi classics like Mad Max<\/em> and Star Wars<\/em>, with junky, low-tech accessories in a post-apocalyptic world.<\/p>\n

The newest additions to this unique Nerf line are the Double Dealer Blaster<\/a>,\u00a0 Vagabond Blaster<\/a>, and\u00a0 Persuader Blaster<\/a>.\u00a0The Double Dealer fires two darts at once, and loaded with two 12-dart clips means you can fire off a barrage of 24 darts in a row. The pump-action Vagabond features a 6-dart rotating barrel. The Persuader is smaller and slicker, firing four darts in a row without needing to reload. Nerf writes that all three Blasters are ideal for lone wanderers in the wastelands of Doomlands, creating an imposing presence that adversaries will take seriously.<\/p>\n
