Chris King, Co-Executive Producer of the TV show, will be heading the project, while Jes\u00fas Herv\u00e1s will be the principal illustrator.<\/p>\n<p>This isn\u2019t the first time <em>Penny Dreadful<\/em> has been showcased in comic form.\u00a0 There was a prequel comic series that explored the characters and their lives before the events of the show. That series was critically acclaimed, and there\u2019s no doubt that the next installment will be just as well received.<\/p>\n<p><em>Penny Dreadful<\/em> comic editor, Lizzie Kaye, had this to say about the upcoming project:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cLike all fans of Penny Dreadful, I am so thrilled that we&#8217;re returning to the incredible world of the show.
