Bludgeon, for one, has been known to disappear off store shelves, which makes sense: he is a skilled Cybertronian samurai after all. As for Power Surge Optimus Prime, well, one can never really have enough Primes.

Featuring easy-to-transform bots with lots of detail and an all-around fun look and feel, this is one of the first waves to include a variety of figures with unique alt and robot modes. Thermidor, for instance, is a cute crustacean who transformers into a super sleek sports car, while Bludgeon takes a cue from his G1 counterpart by transforming into a barreling tank. And then there’s Twinferno, who transformers into a trembling two-headed dragon. Luckily, he’s one of the good guys.

One of the coolest things about the Robots in Disguise line is the toys’ multifunctionality. You can download the RiD app on your phone or tablet and take the action online. By scanning each individual figure’s shield, you’re able to unlock them as playable characters in the game. Awesome, right?

Another great feature is each figure’s ability to perform their own action gimmick. From Grimlock’s chomping jaw to Strongarm’s well, strong arm, each bot offers their own unique way to play. When you add it all up, that’s eight fun features in one great set.

Wave 13 is scheduled for release this December. With figures clocking in at approximately 5 1/2-inches tall, they’re sure to make great stocking stuffers. Be sure to pre-order your set today.

Based on the popular TV show, this Transformers Robots in Disguise Warriors Wave 13 is a set of eight figures including a mix of both Autobots and Decepticons.
