{"id":58804,"date":"2018-01-30T09:36:29","date_gmt":"2018-01-30T17:36:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com\/news\/?p=58804"},"modified":"2020-04-24T12:15:44","modified_gmt":"2020-04-24T19:15:44","slug":"ant-man-wasp-trailer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com\/news\/ant-man-wasp-trailer\/","title":{"rendered":"Video: First Look at Ant-Man and the Wasp Official Trailer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This year will see the release of three new Marvel films &#8211;\u00a0<em>Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War<\/em>, and\u00a0<em>Ant-Man and the Wasp.<\/em>\u00a0And this morning Marvel gave us a first look at\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com\/hitlist.asp?theme=Ant-Man&amp;utm_source=ee-blog&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_campaign=product\">Ant-Man and the Wasp<\/a> <\/em>in the form\u00a0of\u00a0a trailer.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"620\" height=\"349\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/8_rTIAOohas?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The trailer itself didn&#8217;t offer too much in the way of plot or an extended look at the main antagonist of the film, Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), however, we do get a lot of\u00a0 Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lily) in full Wasp costumed action and a quick look at Bill Foster (Laurence Fishburne). All the main players from the first film are returning, as the team finds themselves still dealing with Scott&#8217;s decision to help Captain America during the events of\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com\/hitlist.asp?theme=Captain+America&amp;utm_source=ee-blog&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_campaign=product\">Captain America: Civil War<\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>which puts them constantly on the run. The trailer shows a lot of fast-paced action and promises a return to the Quantum Realm where Hope&#8217;s mother Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) has been lost in for years.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re only a handful of days away from the release of\u00a0<em>Black Panther<\/em>, a few months away from\u00a0<em>Avengers: Infinity War<\/em>, and only two months after that we&#8217;ll get\u00a0<em>Ant-Man and the Wasp<\/em> (July 6, 2018).<\/p>\n<p><em>Which are you most excited for this year?
