Summer is in full swing with tons of blockbuster movies right around the corner. In box office news, <\/span>Oceans 8 <\/span><\/i>stole the spotlight from <\/span>Solo: A Star Wars Story<\/span><\/i> with an impressive $4.1 million in weekly sales. That said, the all-female <\/span>reboot<\/span> will have a hard time competing with <\/span>Incredibles 2<\/span><\/i>, which premiered today.<\/span><\/p>\n

This week saw tons of new toy and superhero news from San Diego Comic-Con, plus E3 just ended with a bang. Seriously, did anyone else get goosebumps watching that new<\/span> Smash Bros.<\/span><\/i> trailer? <\/span><\/p>\n

There\u2019s a whole lot to cover this week, so can we just take a quick moment to say TGIF?<\/span><\/p>\n

Incredibles 2 Is…Incredible?<\/b><\/p>\n

It\u2019s been 14 long years since the first <\/span>Incredibles<\/span><\/i> movie, yet somehow, some way, the original cast is back. With a current Rotten Tomatoes score of 93%, superhero sequels don\u2019t get much better than this. That said, audiences can expect a handful of new characters and plot twists, including one extra\u00a0<\/span>maniacal supervillain<\/span><\/a>\u00a0[SPOILER ALERT]. We\u2019ve got a handful of cool new toys to coincide with the film\u2019s release, so if you haven\u2019t yet, make sure you take a look at our new <\/span>Incredibles<\/span><\/i> LEGO, Funko, and Nano<\/span><\/a> sets.<\/span><\/p>\n

Every Jurassic Park Actor Is a Star<\/strong><\/p>\n

They say life always finds a way. In this case, it\u2019s finding a way straight to Hollywood. That\u2019s right, seasoned JP<\/em> star Jeff Goldblum has finally been awarded his own star on the <\/span>Hollywood Walk of Fame<\/span><\/a>. In anticipation of the upcoming <\/span>Jurassic World<\/span><\/i> release, which comes out June 22nd, the powers that be have awarded Dr. Ian Malcolm his own star. It\u2019s about time if you ask us!<\/span><\/p>\n
