Abrams announced that photography has officially wrapped on the concluding film of the sequel trilogy. Of course, this means that the still-untitled <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com\/s\/star-wars\/t?utm_source=ee-blog&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_campaign=product\"><em>Star Wars<\/em><\/a> movie heads into post-production &#8211; with reshoots and editing- but it&#8217;s emotional to think that the Skywalk Saga is coming to a close.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s what J.J. said about wrapping photography:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">It feels impossible, but today wrapped photography on Episode IX.  There is no adequate way to thank this truly magical crew and cast. We will definitely see the title for <em>Episode IX<\/em> and a poster sooner rather than later but don&#8217;t expect a trailer to drop at the same time. Expect some pretty exciting drops at <em>Star Wars Celebration<\/em> April 11-15, 2019.<\/p>\n<p><em>Episode IX<\/em> will be released in theaters on Dec. 20, 2019.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today, Star Wars: Episode IX director J.J.
