Here is the official synopsis for the show:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the <em>Star Wars<\/em> universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We learned at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com\/s\/star-wars-celebration\/s?&amp;utm_source=ee-blog&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_campaign=product\">Star Wars Celebration<\/a> that the Mandalorian&#8217;s ship, the <em>Razorcrest<\/em>, was filmed with a practical model and did not rely on CGI effects, a return to the original trilogy\u2019s style. The limited-run series will drop new episodes every Friday. Here&#8217;s what we know so far, some of the cast will return &#8211; Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, and Giancarlo Esposito &#8211; and we know the returning directors &#8211; Dave Filoni, Rick Famuyiwa, and of course, Jon Favreau. Carl Weathers is also set to direct. We also know there will be plenty of The Child\/&#8221;Baby Yoda.&#8221; One rumor suggests that Rosario Dawson will star as the live-action version of fan-favorite character Ahsoka Tano. Other than that, little is known of what Season 2 will hold.
