Disney has announced that <a title=\"Star Wars\" href=\"http:\/\/q.entertainmentearth.com\/?l=tnqjqh\">Star Wars<\/a> Rebels will be getting a second season!<\/p>\n<p>Okay, so Star Wars Rebels hasn&#8217;t <em>technically<\/em> premiered yet. However, many fans are still amped for the new series because it is considered canon in the Star Wars universe, and thus will offer hints at the upcoming <em>Star Wars: Episode VII<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Said Disney Channels Worldwide President and Chief Creative Officer Gary Marsh, &#8220;The global expectations for this series could not have been any higher. And I am proud to say that the team at Lucasfilm has delivered something that has surpassed even that incredibly high bar &#8211; artistically and thematically.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We all love making &#8216;Rebels&#8217; so we couldn&#8217;t be happier that it&#8217;s moving into a second season,&#8221; added Lucasfilm VP of Creative Development, Kiri Hart. &#8220;Our fantastic creative team is dreaming up new stories for the crew of the Ghost that will expand their experience of the galaxy and deepen their heroes&#8217; journeys. The fan response to the show has been amazing, humbling and inspiring. We\u2019re looking forward to the adventure ahead.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Star Wars Rebels makes it debut via a TV movie, <em>Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion<\/em>, which will premiere Friday, October 3rd at 9:00 PM ET\/PT on Disney Channel in the U.S., and Monday, October 6th at 8:00 PM ET\/PT on Disney XD in the U.S. The series will officially begin on Monday, October 13th at 9:00 PM ET\/PT on Disney XD in the U.S. The series will air in 34 languages across 163 countries in over 400 million households.<\/p>\n<p>Tell us: Will you be watching <em>Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion<\/em> tonight?
