Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, &#8220;Stone Cold&#8221; Steve Austin, Dwayne &#8220;The Rock&#8221; Johnson, and John Cena might be the names that come to mind. But the newest Superstar to join the rank is none other than &#8220;The Man,&#8221; herself. That&#8217;s right, the face of WWE is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com\/s\/?query1=becky+lynch\">Becky Lynch<\/a> (real name Rebecca Quin). She is arguably the biggest star in the industry and demands adoration from the WWE Universe. How she got to this point, might surprise you.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr noshade=\"noshade\" \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>The Toy That Inspired the Rise<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr noshade=\"noshade\" \/>\n<div id=\"attachment_65464\" style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-65464\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-65464\" src=\"https:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/wrestlemania_32-640x336.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"336\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-65464\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>WWE<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n<p>The Women\u2019s Revolution, a movement that began when the fans demanded that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com\/s\/?query1=wwe\">WWE<\/a> would &#8220;give Divas a chance,&#8221; was the beginning of Becky Lynch&#8217;s evolution to be the top star. Back in 2015, NXT stars Paige, Charlotte, Sasha Banks, and, of course, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com\/s\/?query1=becky+lynch\">Becky Lynch<\/a> were brought to RAW to turn the tide of the Women\u2019s Revolution within the WWE. It was their time in the industry to shine and show what they can do in the ring. The spotlight on the main stage brought great opportunities, including more merchandise.<\/p>\n<p>During a Mattel panel at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com\/s\/?query1=comic%20con&amp;%20All&amp;sort=newly-added\">San Diego Comic-Con<\/a>, a new line of WWE figures was announced. When the team from Mattel revealed a line of dolls based on the <em>WrestleMania 32<\/em> match between Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, and Becky Lynch &#8211; they left Becky completely out! So, Becky took matters into her own hands. She started taking more chances and went with her gut. Her gut led her to quinoa. That&#8217;s right, quinoa. Becky became a social media sensation with a promo that she cut about quinoa she was eating backstage. And the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com\/s\/?query1=wwe\">WWE Universe<\/a> ate it up.<\/p>\n<hr noshade=\"noshade\" \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>Pop Culture Inspires Everyone<\/b><\/p>\n<hr noshade=\"noshade\" \/>\n<div id=\"attachment_65463\" style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-65463\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-65463\" src=\"https:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/the_man-640x336.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"336\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-65463\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>WWE<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com\/s\/?query1=becky+lynch\">Becky Lynch<\/a> had found a new attitude. One that was built out of, not only, her frustration, but her drive and having the opportunity to speak her truth. This enamored her with the WWE Universe.<\/p>\n<p>The thing that some fans didn&#8217;t know was that Becky&#8217;s new persona was partially inspired by <i>Kill Bill<\/i> character &#8220;The Bride&#8221; (played by Uma Thurman). Becky&#8217;s ring gear took hints from The Bride&#8217;s leather motorcycle jacket and pants. It was at this point that she began calling herself\u00a0 &#8220;The Man&#8221; and the world took notice. In the run-up to <em>WrestleMania 35<\/em>, Becky&#8217;s heated Twitter exchanges with Ronda Rousey made her must-see in and out of the ring.<\/p>\n<hr noshade=\"noshade\" \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>Earned and Not Given<\/b><\/p>\n<hr noshade=\"noshade\" \/>\n<div id=\"attachment_65462\" style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-65462\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-65462\" src=\"https:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/becky_two_belts-640x336.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"336\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-65462\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>WWE<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n<p><em>Wrestlemania<\/em>. &#8220;The Grandest Stage of Them All.&#8221; The biggest event of the year for WWE Superstars and fans alike. To main event this show is to say that you\u2019re the best in the company. Some wrestlers are given that spotlight. But there\u2019s a handful of wrestlers that earn the main event match. Becky&#8217;s drive and the fans made the main event of <em>Wrestlemania 35<\/em> happen.<\/p>\n<p>This was the very first <em>Wrestlemania<\/em> main event to be headlined by women. She\u2019d share the stage with Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey but she stole the show and both of the company\u2019s Women\u2019s Championships. Then &#8220;The Man&#8221; became &#8220;Becky Two Belts.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>But that&#8217;s not all, Becky Lynch has become the face of the WWE by being the first WWE Superstar to grace the front cover of <em>ESPN The Magazine<\/em> alongside Netflix\u2019s GLOW\u2019s Alison Brie. Over the last few years, Funko has released a couple of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com\/product\/wwe-becky-lynch-pop-vinyl-figure\/fu41941\">Becky Lynch Pop!s<\/a>, and there have been several Mattel action figures. There should definitely be more merchandise and we hope that toy companies have learned from past mistakes.
