Malik, originally from New Delhi, first came to the U.S. to earn a bachelor\u2019s degree in computer science at the University of Texas at Arlington. He realized that he didn\u2019t enjoy computer engineering and began a successful wholesale business.<\/p>\n<p>The first licensed Bioworld products were for heavy metal artists Slipknot and Limp Bizkit. From there, the company grew into a manufacturer of licensed merchandise from leading brands such as <em>Naruto<\/em>, <em>Zelda<\/em>, Disney, and more. The Texan company now has 20 different product categories, 9 offices worldwide, and 500 employees \u2013 including over 150 product design experts.<\/p>\n<h2>More Than Just Bags<\/h2>\n<p>Speaking of the different product categories, Bioworld doesn&#8217;t just create bags, it designs hats, key chains, lanyards, pins, and even more apparel. If you\u2019re looking for a backpack from the latest game or a pair of socks from your favorite anime, Bioworld is sure to have it.<\/p>\n<h2>Crunchyroll\/Bioworld Anime-zing Partnership<\/h2>\n<p>In February 2016, Crunchyroll, the anime streaming service, announced that it formed a long-term partnership with Bioworld merchandise to create anime products for anime conventions, special events, and national and independent retail chains. Licenses include <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com\/s\/naruto\/t\"><em>Naruto<\/em><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com\/s\/one-punch-man\/t\"><em>One Punch Man<\/em><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com\/s\/dragon-ball\/t\"><em>Dragon Ball Z<\/em><\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com\/s\/my-hero-academia\/t\"><em>My Hero Academia<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Vandor Chewbacca Cookie Jar with a Side of Pins<\/h2>\n<p>In August 2018, Bioworld acquired Salt Lake City-based home d\u00e9cor company, Vandor. Not only does Vandor over 60 years of experience creating high-quality licensed home goods from <em>Star Wars<\/em>, Marvel, Disney, and more, but they also had a large wholesale business too.
