Robert Downey Jr. is messing with all of us.<\/p>\n

On The Ellen Show, Robert Downey Jr. said yes, there will be a 4th Iron Man film<\/a>, and yes, he is in negotiations for the film. “I know there\u2019s going to be a bunch more Marvel movies,” he said. “And they have big ideas of how to do it best and, you know, we\u2019re in the middle of negotiation\u2026”<\/p>\n

But when asked explicitly by David Letterman, Robert Downey Jr.’s response varied from his Ellen response.<\/p>\n

On Letterman, he said “There’s no plans for an Iron Man 4. There’s no script for Iron Man 4, but they do have a plan and I think they’re gonna announce it.”<\/p>\n

So which story is the real story? Will there be an Iron Man 4 film or will Iron Man merely appear in other Marvel films?<\/p>\n
