Season 1 and season 2 had some fantastic premises, from \u201cWhat if\u2026 the World Lost Its Mightiest Heroes?\u201d to \u201cWhat if\u2026Hela Found the Ten Rings?\u201d With season 2 having just wrapped up at the end of 2023, fans are itching for more. Luckily, we have the season 3 episode titles to theorize over! So don\u2019t fret, sometime this year we\u2019ll be able to see even the craziest What If\u2026? storylines played out right in front of our eyes! This X post was published on December 30th, 2023, the same day that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com\/news\/what-if-season-2-cast-characters\">the finale of season 2 premiered<\/a>. So, if we\u2019re going off of when the last season premiered, maybe we can expect season 3 around December 2024? Hopefully, Marvel\u2019s interpretation of the word \u201csoon\u201d means it\u2019ll come a littleeee sooner.<\/p>\n<h2>Which Marvel Characters Will Be in What If\u2026? Season 3<\/h2>\n<p>So, according to The Internet (more accurately, this post from X user Avengers_Updates) we have the alleged <em>What If\u2026?<\/em> season 3 episode titles! Some fantastic episodes seem to be ahead with some amazing and creative ideas. Looks like Marvel will dive into one of their most interesting <em>What If\u2026?<\/em> ideas straight away with the episode \u201cWhat If\u2026The Other Half Blipped?\u201d, while also courageously taking a stab at a musical episode, \u201cWhat If\u2026Wanda Watched Musicals Instead of Sitcoms.\u201d Take a look at the rumored episode titles below and let\u2019s see what we can hypothesize!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rumored Episodes<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><em>What If\u2026?<\/em> S03E01<\/h3>\n<p><strong>What if\u2026The other half blipped?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Alright\u2026 starting off strong! According to this alleged episode title, the canonical \u201cblip\u201d, which took fan-favorite characters like Spider-Man, Black Panther, Bucky Barnes, Doctor Strange, and more, off the map in a shocking moment filled with tears and dust, will be flipped! Instead of the above characters disappearing, it sounds like characters like Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Valkyrie, and Captain Marvel will be the one\u2019s saying goodbye.<\/p>\n<p>How does the world turn out if it\u2019s now being run by Doctor Strange and Black Panther? How many other characters will we see actually survived the \u201cblip\u201d? This is a big idea that fans have wanted for a while, and we\u2019re super stoked to see how it turns out. The entire world could look immensely different!<\/p>\n<p>________________________________________<\/p>\n<h3><em>What If\u2026?<\/em> S03E02<\/h3>\n<p><strong>What if\u2026Maria Rambeau was Captain Marvel?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you remember from the 2019 Marvel film, Captain Marvel, Maria Rambeau is Carol Danver\u2019s best friend and flight partner. The two are super close, so much so that when Carol returns after her 6 year disappearance, Maria jumps right in to help with the cause. After the events of that movie, Maria Rambeau continued on to become the founder and director of the intelligence agency S.W.O.R.D., or Sentient Weapon Observation and Response Division. In an episode of WandaVision, we learn that Maria sadly passed away from cancer, while her daughter was still \u201cblipped.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>To extrapolate from the title, instead of Carol Danvers receiving the blast of energy from the reactor, it would be Maria. From there, we might see how Maria reacts to being taken in by the Kree, if she would become a member of the Kree\u2019s team of soldiers called the Starforce. Would Maria become an Avenger down the line? How would her philosophies differ from Carol\u2019s? Would she still be friends with Carol? How will her daughter Monica react? Tons of questions about this episode and really, we don\u2019t know much, and anything could happen!<\/p>\n<h3>Monica Rambeau aka Photon<\/h3>\n<div style=\"width: 315px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com\/product\/the-marvels-marvel-legends-collection-photon-6inch-action-figure\/hsf3681\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/media.entertainmentearth.com\/assets\/images\/a92d9d1a2b9b4f40b9bd25323f69ed06lg.jpg\" alt=\"The Marvels Marvel Legends Collection Photon 6-Inch Action Figure\" width=\"305\" height=\"305\" \/><\/a><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Marvels Marvel Legends Collection Photon 6-Inch Action Figure<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Monica Rambeau, the daughter of Monica, must be affected by this <em>What If\u2026?<\/em> change. Will her mom no longer get cancer? Will Monica now have a good relationship with Carol, and a bad one with her mom? Will she still become Photon if she was never \u201cblipped\u201d? Tons of questions to ask about Monica, especially since she\u2019s active in the MCU right now, having just had a huge role in the 2023 MCU film The Marvels. We can\u2019t wait to see what actually plays out!<br \/>\nH3: Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel<\/p>\n<p>Carol Danvers is who we know and love currently as Captain Marvel \u2013 but what would her life be like if she never received the blast? Would she still just be the spunky pilot that she was before? Will her friendship with Monica continue? Will she still be a loving Cat Mom? The opportunities are endless!<\/p>\n<p>________________________________________<\/p>\n<h3><em>What If\u2026?<\/em> S03E03<\/h3>\n<p><strong>What if\u2026Wanda Watched Musicals Instead of Sitcoms?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Now this is an episode we can get behind! If you watched WandaVision then you know what Wanda did and why she did it. Spoilers ahead! In the aftermath of the events of Avengers: Endgame, Wanda is overwhelmed with grief, having just endured the violent end of her partner\/lover Vision. Instead of working through that grief in a healthy way, Wanda quite literally traps a town in a stylized version of some of her favorite sitcoms. Having grown up watching a ton of TV, Wanda aims to capture the old-fashioned family happiness present in sitcoms from the 1950s to present day. A world where problems don\u2019t exist for longer than an episode \u2013 that\u2019s what Wanda yearns for. She brings back her lover Vision (or at least a copy of him) to participate in these delusions, and havoc ensues.<\/p>\n<p>Now imagine if it wasn\u2019t sitcoms but it was musicals! This seems like the perfect way to create a musical episode of <em>What If\u2026?<\/em>. Musical episodes have gained popularity within the decade or so, appearing in shows such as <em>Buffy the Vampire Slayer <\/em>and <em>Riverdale<\/em>. Who doesn\u2019t want to see our favorite MCU characters participating in a musical extravaganza?<\/p>\n<h3>WandaVision\u2019s Wanda<\/h3>\n<div style=\"width: 319px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com\/product\/wandavision-halloween-wanda-funko-pop-vinyl-figure-715\/fu52044\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/media.entertainmentearth.com\/assets\/images\/1194229afa884e10a873d720f1f55f1flg.jpg\" alt=\"WandaVision Halloween Wanda Funko Pop! Vinyl Figure #715<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Although it was said above, it\u2019s worth repeating. Wanda was not doing so good when WandaVision began. Vision was dead, and the world that she had known had changed drastically after the events of Avengers: End Game. Wanda was definitely not in a good place. If we keep with that idea of Wanda in this new <em>What If\u2026?<\/em> episode, then she\u2019s most definitely depressed. And what would a depressed person do with tons of musicals as inspiration? There\u2019s a WORLD of opportunity here! How about a Hairspray moment? Maybe Into the Woods? As long as it\u2019s not Les Mis I think she\u2019ll be okay. Whatever it is that happens, we\u2019re ready to sing-along!<\/p>\n<p>________________________________________<\/p>\n<h3><em>What If\u2026?<\/em> S03E04<\/h3>\n<p><strong>What if\u2026Pietro survived Ultron?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pietro, the twin brother of Wanda Maximoff, sadly died during the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron. Pietro was Wanda\u2019s biggest supporter really, a bond that only twins could truly understand. Losing Pietro was one of the hardest things that Wanda had to go through. If Pietro had survived Ultron, Pietro and Wanda probably would\u2019ve remained a duo. Would Wanda ever fall for Vision if she was still paired with Pietro? Would Pietro be interested in joining the Avengers?<\/p>\n<h3>Pietro aka Quicksilver<\/h3>\n<div style=\"width: 337px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com\/product\/avengers-infinity-saga-marvel-legends-series-quicksilver-6inch-action-figure\/hsf0186\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/media.entertainmentearth.com\/assets\/images\/d0843181faf843f597cdad368277ed47lg.jpg\" alt=\"Avengers Infinity Saga Marvel Legends Series Quicksilver 6-Inch Action Figure\" width=\"327\" height=\"327\" \/><\/a><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Avengers Infinity Saga Marvel Legends Series Quicksilver 6-Inch Action Figure<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Pietro\u2019s career as the superhero Quicksilver could\u2019ve gone long and far if he had survived the Ultron attack. Pietro\u2019s speed would\u2019ve been a huge asset to the team, saving even more people from falling buildings or taking out some of the Big Bad\u2019s minions (whoever that could be.) I myself would\u2019ve loved to still see Aaron Taylor Johnson as the hot sarcastic speedster in Avengers 4!<\/p>\n<p>________________________________________<\/p>\n<h3><em>What If\u2026?<\/em> S03E05<\/h3>\n<p><strong>What if\u2026Okoye took the heart-shaped herb?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Okoye is the leader of the Dora Milaje, a group of female fighters who act as protectors of Wakanda and as bodyguards to the Black Panther. Okoye plays a huge role in Black Panther and its sequel. So to start, it\u2019s going to be incredibly important when Okoye takes the heart-shaped herb. Will this happen before T\u2019Challa ever takes it? Will she take it instead of Shuri? Once Okoye takes over the role of Black Panther, who will take over as the leader of the Dora Milaje? What will Shuri be up to? Will Ramonda, the Queen of Wakanda, still be alive? We\u2019re excited!<\/p>\n<p>________________________________________<\/p>\n<h3><em>What If\u2026?<\/em> S03E06<\/h3>\n<p><strong>What if\u2026Tiamut destroyed the Earth?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The celestial Tiamut was bent on destroying the Earth in an event called the Emergence. But, also during the Marvel movie Eternals, Tiamut was locked in stone, the celestial plan to destroy the Earth now paused. The latest piece of information we got about Tiamut since the 2021 movie, actually came in the form of an easter-egg in the TV series She-Hulk.<\/p>\n<p>While our girl Jen was scanning the internet for new job opportunities, a clickbait-y article title shows up in the corner of her laptop screen \u2013 \u201cWhy is there a giant statue of a man sticking out of the ocean?\u201d Although small, this little title is fantastic to see. It feels great to finally get in-universe confirmation that the world DID in fact notice this giant celestial being.<\/p>\n<p>If Tiamut hadn\u2019t been turned into stone and instead had destroyed the earth and the human beings on it\u2026well. I\u2019m not sure there\u2019s anything any of us could do. The Eternals might be the only characters whose lives would be drastically changed. Ikaris and Sprite would probably go on the way that Arashim would want.<\/p>\n<p>I can\u2019t really say what might happen to the rest of the Eternals. Maybe they would continue being a team \u2013 monitoring the next group of beings that\u2019s put under their watch. I look forward to seeing what sad <em>What If\u2026?<\/em> storyline could happen after the Earth is destroyed.<br \/>\n________________________________________<\/p>\n<h3><em>What If\u2026?<\/em> S03E07<\/h3>\n<p><strong>What if\u2026Khonshu chose Peter Parker?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Khonshu is the Egyptian god of the moon and the night sky, having appeared in the Disney+ show, Moon Knight. In the series, Khonshu chose Stephen Grant as his next avatar, to be the next Moon Knight. If Grant hadn\u2019t been chosen and instead it was Peter Parker\u2026 This is definitely an idea that could lead us many places! Is Peter Spider-Man and Moon Knight? Is he way more knowledgeable now that he has both being\u2019s powers? Will Peter be able to handle student life AND the immense pressure that Khonshu would place upon him?<\/p>\n<p>Lots of questions for this one! Spider-Man\u2019s tone is way different from Moon Knight\u2019s, who\u2019s episodes in the series felt meant for a more mature audience. One of Moon Knight\u2019s selling points is how violent and dark it is. To throw Peter Parker into that tone and that story would be very different from what we know! We\u2019re excited to see what comes of it.<\/p>\n<h3>Peter Parker aka Spider-Man<\/h3>\n<div style=\"width: 332px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com\/product\/spiderman-no-way-home-marvel-legends-spiderman-6inch-action-figure\/hsf6509\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/media.entertainmentearth.com\/assets\/images\/3ed364e1928f4751b4241bb765926c15lg.jpg\" alt=\"Spider-Man: No Way Home Marvel Legends Spider-Man 6-Inch Action Figure\" width=\"322\" height=\"322\" \/><\/a><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Spider-Man: No Way Home Marvel Legends Spider-Man 6-Inch Action Figure<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Like we said above, Peter Parker is Spider-Man, a student who was bitten by a radio active spider. The Peter we know in the MCU has been around since Captain America: Civil War. Since, Peter has grown into a very respected member of the super-hero community. However (spoilers ahead), in Spider-Man: No Way Home a spell is enacted that makes the entire world forget that Peter Parker ever existed. Will this episode take place after this event? Who knows, but at the very least, we\u2019re excited to see Peter Parker again!<br \/>\n________________________________________<\/p>\n<h3><em>What If\u2026?<\/em> S03E08<\/h3>\n<p><strong>What if\u2026Natasha Romanoff survived Vormir?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Natasha Romanoff AKA The Black Widow! What might happen if she survived Vormir? First of all, she would\u2019ve been around for the battle in Avengers: Endgame. It was definitely a travesty that she wasn\u2019t there in the first place\u2026but alas! Maybe now is our chance to see how she could\u2019ve been useful. Past that, Natasha would\u2019ve been a great role model for some of our other female Young Avengers, like Hawkeye, who could\u2019ve used a mentor like her! Hopefully we\u2019d see some fantastic new spy missions, Natasha\u2019s relationship with the rest of the Avengers (especially Cap), and how she could\u2019ve helped with some other big MCU events. Maybe she could even team up with some new heroes like She-Hulk or Ms. Marvel!<\/p>\n<h3>Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow<\/h3>\n<div style=\"width: 334px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.entertainmentearth.com\/product\/captain-america-the-winter-soldier-marvel-legends-black-widow-6inch-action-figure\/hsf6522\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/media.entertainmentearth.com\/assets\/images\/2137348d33c9457997e92cbd0cd0aae0lg.jpg\" alt=\"Captain America: The Winter Soldier Marvel Legends Black Widow 6-Inch Action Figure\" width=\"324\" height=\"324\" \/><\/a><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Captain America: The Winter Soldier Marvel Legends Black Widow 6-Inch Action Figure<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Natasha Romanoff has been a part of the MCU for a loooong time. Introduced in the 2012 movie Iron Man 2, Natasha was an integral part of the team, a spy that had switched sides and joined up with S.H.I.E.L.D. before we met her. Natasha teamed up with Steve Rogers in Captain America: Winter Soldier and helped to take down HYDRA, which had infiltrated their beloved operation. If it wasn\u2019t for Natasha, who was willing to risk her life to save the Earth and bring back everyone who had been \u201cblipped\u201d, then who knows if the Avengers would\u2019ve succeeded in their mission. To have her back would be a breath of fresh air. Who wouldn\u2019t want one of the best characters to make a return?
