The younger generation of mutants are taking over the X-Men: Apocalypse set. Earlier this week we saw Nightcrawler and today, director Bryan Singer posted another goodie to his Instagram.
Check out Sophie Turner as Jean Grey and Lana Condor as Jubilee!
They look like they’re having fun. If you’re wondering about the big hair and tops tucked into those jeans and shorts, remember that this film takes place in the 1980s.
We think they look perfect. This will be the first time we see these characters portrayed so young; it will be interesting to see how they’re depicted. The film will undoubtedly be a box office smash like its predecessors and depending on how the younger cast is received, they could be posed to launch a new era of the franchise.
Turner and Condor will be joined by other young newcomers, Tye Sheridan (Cyclops), Alexandra Shipp (Storm), and Kodi Smit-McPhee (Nightcrawler).
X-Men: Apocalypse is set to hit theatres on May 27, 2016, directed by Bryan Singer, and starring James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Alexandra Shipp, Tye Sheridan, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Olivia Munn, and Oscar Isaac.
