Marvel Editor-in-Chief Joe Quesada helped Diamond Select Toys refine the overall design for this sculpt. After stumbling upon a hidden lair containing the journals and equipment of the original Green Goblin, Roderick Kingsley decided to use his newfound knowledge to embark on a life of crime. Kingsley battled the Amazing Spider-man as the Hobgoblin time after time before ending up in prison, where he nurses his hatred for the wall-crawler.
