This authentically sculpted maquette captures Superman standing for Truth and Justice in his classic pose. Sculpted by John G. Mathews. This limited edition, hand-painted cold-cast porcelain maquette is packaged in a multi box. Limited Edition of 2,500 pieces. (Subject to change.)
Nostalgia buffs will remember that Fleischer Studios ran 17 Superman short cartoons from 1941-1943, which became very popular, as the idea of a "super-man" was very new to an audience who was used to Tarzan and Doc Savage.
