Ever since convincing Kermit to hire him (it wasn't hard - Scooter's Uncle owned the Muppet Theater), Scooter has been an integral part of the Muppets - as "gofer" and all-around errand boy and assistant. In addition, Scooter has a talent for performance and occasionally takes his place onstage in production numbers.
