Japan (1603-1868)
During the Tokugawa Era, the Edo Period, crime and distrust were rampant in the land. Oppression and poverty filled the land. Families warred with families. Spies and assassins lurked in every household. Bandits and thieves, formed of ronin, masterless Samurai, terrorized the countryside. Distrust and fear filled the land.
Through all this deception and turmoil rose great warriors and leaders. The Daimyo. With their knowledge of Bushido, passed on from generation to generation, they honed their skills with unflinching hands, razor sharp swords and indomitable spirits.
Their honor, loyalty, and iron will forged them a path to greatness. Their strategy on the battlefield caused fear. Their skills with the sword made them legends. These men shaped the face of Japan.
These men were, Tokugawa Daimyo.
