With its first release for the Playstation in 1995, the Ace Combat series is a cornerstone of the combat flight simulator genre, and now the XFA-627 unit from the series is joining Kotobukiya's lineup of plastic model kits! As one of the original units, the XFA-27 has over twenty years of history in the series. The plastic model kit is based on the fine-tuned design that appear s in the Playstation 3's Ace Combat Infinity. The base of the ship is made of white plastic, while the canards, main wings, tail units, and ventral fines are all pre-painted with the XFA-27's signature red markings allowing you to easily enjoy assembling the model with no painting required! At a compact 1:144 scale, this snap-fit model kit is perfect for displaying alongside other models to recreate scenes from four player co-op battles. The cockpit window is made of translucent black plastic. The red markings on the wings are pre-painted parts. The distinctive main wings are adjustable, and both the left and right wing move in conjunction. The landing gear can be displayed or stowed by changing out the parts. The model includes interchangeable parts to display the ventral fins in the collapsed mode for landing. The model comes with a pilot figure that can be displayed in the cockpit. The model comes with connector parts a mini base, allowing you to display the model in flight. The model measures about 6 1/5-inches long upon completion and is comprised of 40 parts.
