Battlestar Galactica Raptor Pilot Premium Ship Patch:The Battlestar Galactica Raptor Pilot Premium Ship Patch was worn on such distinguished characters as Athena and Helo. It took a special kind of courageous soldier to pilot the Raptors, these "boats in space" often being sent on recon or payload delivery missions, with all the danger and less maneuverability and speed as their Viper counterparts. The specialized fabric and process to recreate the original patch was painstakingly undertaken to create a 99.99% perfect replica. In association with the original patch maker, each patch made for production will be crafted using the same manufacturers and materials as used on the show. This patch offering features both exact replicas of the pieces used during actual filming, and newly created patches based off of squadron insignia seen in the series. No expense has been spared to capture the authenticity of these patches, which are indistinguishable from the ones used in the series. Patches made for this series use exact digital files created and used in BSG production, as well as exact fabrics and threads. For patches that were never officially made for series, this patch features the exact same artwork digital files created by Battlestar Galactica production art department staff. Measures about 4-inches tall. Ages 14 and up.
