The first fossil of a Tsagaan was discovered in 1996, and from a skull and neck vertebrae was originally identified as a Velociraptor. However, a CAT-scan in May 1998 concluded that it represented an entirely new genus. The Tsagaan roamed the Earth about 75 million years ago and is estimated to have been roughly 6 1/2-feet long. Ages 15 and up.
