His head, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips and knees move, bend and twist in pinned-ball sockets. This 11½ inch General Custer figure includes: general's hat, 2 spur straps, 2 spurs (back part), folded gloves, bandanna, canteen, binoculars, pistol, pistol belt, rifle, saber (union type), blanket roll and bugle. The set is packaged in a full color lithographed box. Each one is individually numbered and includes a special collector booklet with Certificate of Authenticity.
In 1965 Marx Toys introduced the first of their authentic action figures of the American West. Each figure included an array of accessories, genuine in design and detail including range gear, weapons and personal equipment.
Fully articulated, they can be set up and posed. The series began with Johnny West, Chief Cherokee and their trusted horses. As their popularity grew, so did their family and friends.
These figures represent a by-gone era when Americans celebrated the glory days of Old West. Magnificently Marx, the Best if the West series was destined to become classic. BEST OF THE WEST, Wanted by Toy Collectors everywhere.
