Description

SIGMA 6 is the code name for a new group of covert GI JOE operatives with highly specialized capabilities. They use innovative technology and gear designed exclusively for each of their missions. Working against them is the evil COBRA organization, whose goal it is to take control of the world by sabotage, espionage and outright destruction. SIGMA 6 fights them at every turn and provides a swift solution to critical situations around the globe.

Highly skilled, a bit reckless and extremely self-confident, KAMAKURA is an expert with many martial arts weapons. He is the student of SNAKE EYES, the ninja commando of the SIGMA 6 team. His weapons can be configured different ways to create the most effective battle system for each mission. He is especially proficient with the bolo arm launcher that can reach enemies at a distance, giving him a powerful advantage by extending the range of his attack. His expertise in weaponry and hand-to-hand combat was invaluable when the legendary ARASHIKAGE dojo was ambushed by COBRA ninjas and NINJA B.A.T troopers. An intense battle followed that demanded all the skills and ingenuity of KAMAKURA to defeat the enemy assault.

Under the command of COBRA ninja STORM SHADOW, NINJA B.A.T. troopers are highly advanced android units programmed for martial arts combat. Their built-in weaponry is designed to capture, disable or destroy their targets and includes knives, swords, pistols and retractor claws. NINJA B.A.T. forces are often used to attack SIGMA 6 forces with an unrelenting onslaught of powerful fighters who cannot be reasoned with and are difficult to stop. They are especially dangerous because their arms can extend to an abnormal length, allowing them to reach SIGMA 6 teams who believed they were at a safe distance from the evil androids. Once caught in those deadly claws, it is almost impossible to escape.

DUKE is an expert in covert amphibious operations. One mission involved disabling a COBRA island substation that was committing acts of marine sabotage. A submarine brought DUKE within several miles of the island, and at 0400 hours he entered the ocean using an Aquatic Combat Vehicle equipped with GPS equipment of pinpoint his target and monitor underwater enemy patrols. With his custom pistols mounted on the underwater vehicle, he reached the substation and began the next phase of his mission: infiltrate and destroy. He subdued the COBRA forces on duty then blasted the substation with pulse grenades, reducing it to rubble. His mission complete, DUKE returned to the sub as a support team arrived to detain the COBRA troops.

TUNNEL RAT is an expert at outdoor survival tactics and can provide any small, portable equipment needed at any given moment from his seemingly bottomless Sledpack. He is highly skilled at infiltrating extremely narrow areas, and uses his Sledpack in these small passageways as a fast, highly maneuverable land sled. His expertise helped the SIGMA 6 team successfully infiltrate a previously impenetrable COBRA facility. The only access was an abandoned pipeline considered too small for concern. He glided through the pipe on his mobilized Sledpack, pulled an array of weapons from a hidden compartment in his pack, and captured the surprised guards before they even had time to reach for their weapons.
