The renowned American film director, producer, artist, writer, and animator has seen his extraordinary movies garner a host of nominations and awards for films like Beetlejuice, Corpse Bride, Frankenweenie, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Big Fish, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Mars Attacks!, Ed Wood, Big Eyes, and of course, the incomparable The Nightmare Before Christmas. These nominations and awards range from BAFTA and Saturn to Golden Globes, Academy Awards, and more. And there are other popular films that come to mind, such as Pee-wee's Big Adventure, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, and Dark Shadows.
