Description

MLB GameBreaker Series 1 Nomar Garciaparra - Boston Red Sox:

One of the most potent bats in the Boston Red Sox lineup belongs to none other than All-Star shortstop Nomar Garciaparra. A former A.L. Rookie of the Year (1997) and two-time league batting champ (.357 in '99; .372 in '00), Nomar has a knack for delivering hits in the clutch. Now collectors and Bosox fans can better appreciate Nomar's timely bat exploits by ordering one of Upper Deck's newest products: MLB GameBreakers. These specially designed figurines (non-bobbing head) are made of high-quality Polyresin material, stand 7.5 inches tall and weigh approximately one pound each. Each figurine includes a simulated batter's box base with a brass nameplate of the featured player. The common Garciaparra version (showing him in his home Red Sox white uniform) is squeaky clean: no dirt. But collectors beware: There are 100 randomly inserted "dirty knees" Garciaparra Home Uniform versions so be on the lookout for this rare collectible! This Item is limited to 5,000.
