12 in. Green Beret, Eagle Description:
From the 12 inch Elite Force Series comes the U.S. Army Special Forces Green Beret action figure, "Eagle". Featuring a fully poseable action body, this 1/6th scale authentic collector figure includes: diecast metal weapons and accessories (a realistic foldable SAT. radio, LST-5B satellite, radio with collapsible antenna, an M4 Carbine with "C-Mag" , SAT.com back pack, 1 quart canteen, "C-Mag" pouch, U.S. M-9 9mm pistol & holster) and a custom expression mechanism.
Formed initially on July 9th, 1942 at Fort William Henry Harrison in Montana, the U.S. Army Special Forces are today known as the "Quiet Professionals." The use of Green Beret was introduced by Major Herbert Bruckner in 1953, and whilst it was not regulation dress, its use spread throughout the Special Forces. The Green Beret was officially recognized by the U.S. Army during 1961 and today is standard dress. The motto of the Green Beret is "To Free the Oppressed", and to uphold this they maintain a mature, highly skilled and superbly trained force of volunteers which rank among the world's finest unconventional warfare forces.
