From the 12 inch Elite Force Series comes the Los Angeles County Sheriff "Officer Burns" action figure. Featuring a fully poseable action body, this 1/6th scale authentic collector figure includes diecast metal weapons and accessories.
During the mid 1800's Los Angeles California was in the grip of the gold rush and people from all over the world sought their fortunes there. Over 100,000 men from all parts of the world were thrown together there bringing about conflict and lawlessness. LA's crime rate was exploding with its population, and in dire need of law enforcement. April of 1950 saw the formation of the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department with George T. Burril as its first sheriff and two deputies as his assistants. Today the LASD is the largest sheriff's department in the world with over 8,000 sworn members and over 5,000 civilian employees.
