Dark Horse continues to celebrate Beetle Bailey's 50th anniversary with this seven-figure set of the inhabitants of good ol' Camp Swampy. The four PVC figures (Beetle, Sarge, General Halftrack, and Miss Buxley) are the same ones that were released as a component of the previously-announced book and PVC sets. We've added three new characters that are unavailable elsewhere: Otto (Sarge's dog), Lt. Flap, and Cookie. This lineup of loveable losers are all comic strip classics, and we are thrilled to see them spring to life in three dimensions. Beetle Bailey:
The perennial private who sees his duty as sleeping whenever possible, needling Sarge and avoiding work at all costs.
Sarge:
An overweight, snaggletooth sergeant with the manners of a hippopotamus and a heart of gold.
Otto:
Sarge's faithful companion; Otto follows him everywhere and backs up his master's yelling with growls.
Cookie:
Camp Swampy's favorite cook, mainly because he is their only cook- a big hairy slob slopping grub. What's not to love?
General Halftrack:
As a leader, General Halftrack couldn't guide a cub scout to a candy store. But he really shines at happy hour!
Miss Buxley:
A sweet girl who doesn't know she is the object of every man's passion, a girl who saves stray cats, gives spiders their freedom and wants to help everyone.
Lt. Flap:
A macho type who isn't afraid to make a bold fashion statement on his time off, Lt. Flap always tells it like it is.
