Monkee Mobile 1:18 Scale Die Cast:This is a 1:18 scale die-cast replica of the Monkee Mobile from the hit 1960's sitcom "The Monkees." Features the highest quality construction and fantastic attention to detail. Includes opening doors and hood, detailed interior, removable top and steerable front wheels.
It vaguely resembled a GTO, but what started out as a "goat" emerged as a pure "Monkee"! When customizer Dean Jeffries was contracted to build a car for a TV show about a rock group and its zany misadventures, he knew just what was needed. While the front grille sported a GTO emblem, Jeffries' extensive modifications included a tall spilt windshield, an extra row of seats where the rear deck was, a T-bucket convertible top, large fender flares and exaggerated tail lamps. The engine sported a 6-71 supercharger.
