Satchel Paige Historical Figurine - Kansas City Monarchs Description:
Upper Deck Collectibles remembers the Negro Leagues with "Historical Beginnings," a limited-edition series of 12" figurines that honor the heroes of the circuit. Each figurine depicts the player in a classic pose on top of an attractive wood base. The series debuts with Satchel Paige (limited to 2,000) and continues with renderings of other Negro League stars like Jackie Robinson, Larry Doby and Josh Gibson (limited to 1,200 each). These men helped advance baseball. Remember them with "Historical Beginnings."
