Zathura Board Game Description:
From the minds that brought the world Jumanji comes Zathura. Adventure is waiting! The game is based on the board game from the film, and has great retro-style graphics and nifty mechanisms! Turn the key, and a game card pops out. A robot moves along the board to thwart your progress. Bit by bit, the house puzzle falls apart-- but if you reach Planet Zathura first, you win! Ages 7 & up, for 2 to 4 players. Move your spaceship across space and set your sights on Zathura, the planet you need to reach in order to win. But beware! There are many obstacles to face before youreach your goal. Turn the key on the console to eject a cardand see what follows. Three-dimensional component game parts make the quest to Zathura even more exciting. The console features a unique spinner and a push button that ejects the cards. Spaceships get sucked in - and ejected from - the planet Tsouris. And, at your final destination, you mustspin Zathura for the final challenge to win.

ZATHURA: ADVENTURE IS WAITING 11/11/2005 COMING SOON! In theaters today is the new flick Zathura, from the same people that brought you Jumanji. The film itself is largely based around this item, the Zathura Board Game, a 2005 creation made to look like a 1955 creation. In this game, there's a lot of old-fashioned board game elements and an old-timey sensibility of design, making it a fun game and a throwback to how we used to play games in more ways than one. Don't miss out on this one, as it's one of very few tie-ins to the movie!
