WALL-E Generating Electricity Pix-Cel:

  • Limited edition pix-cel.
  • 195-piece, hand-numbered edition.
"Generating Electricity" is an endearing pix-cel that features WALL-E and EVE. A limited edition of just 195 pieces, it measures 7 1/2-inches tall x 16-inches wide and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Capture the electricity of love in space on your wall today!

After hundreds of lonely years of doing what he was built for, WALL-E (short for Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class) discovers a new purpose in life (besides collecting knickknacks) when he meets a sleek search robot named EVE. EVE comes to realize that WALL-E has inadvertently stumbled upon the key to the planet's future, and races back to space to report her findings to the humans (who have been eagerly awaiting word that it is safe to return home). Meanwhile, WALL-E chases EVE across the galaxy and sets into motion one of the most exciting and imaginative comedy adventures ever brought to the big screen.

The pix-cel is a trademarked product developed by Acme and Epson utilizing proprietary technology to give a fully rendered, continuous-tone, 3-D image directly from digital production files onto clear acetate, and positioned on a giclée background, also from a digital production file.

Giclée (pronounced "zhee-clay") is an invented name for the process of making fine-art prints from a digital source using ink-jet printing. The word was coined to distinguish commonly known industrial "Iris proofs" from the fine-art prints artists were producing on the same printers. The name has since come to mean any high-quality, ink-jet print, and is often used in galleries and print shops to denote such. In the past few years, the word (as a fine-art term) has come to be associated with prints using fade-resistant "archival" inks and the inkjet printers that use them. A wide variety of substrates are available, including various textures and finishes such as matte photo paper, watercolor paper, cotton canvas, or artist textured vinyl.
