Optimus Prime ("Optimus" or "Prime" for short) is the fictional commander of the main protagonist group (known as the "Autobots") in the Transformers universes. His original toy in Japan's "Diaclone" line is called "Battle Convoy" because he leads a convoy of vehicles. Optimus Prime is one of the most recognizable Transformers of the series.
