This Robyn Regehr plastic action figure is one of only 200 signed by the imposing defenseman in road white stands approximately 6-inches tall. Originally drafted by the Colorado Avalanche in the first round, 19th overall, Regehr was traded to Calgary in after reaching the WHL chapmionship in 1999, where they lost to the Calgary Hitmen - clearly the Flames saw his potential. Tragedy struck later that year when he was involved in a car accident that nearly ended his career before it started. That winter, however, he was the youngest nominee in NHL history of the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy, which recognizes perserverance, sportsmanship and dedication to hockey. This dedication continues to this day with Regehr's being active with many charities and community work. Well-known today as a rugged positional player with an imposing physical presence, Robyn Regehr is a leader amongst his Calgary Flames teammates both on and off the ice.
