Syd Mead's works have spanned over 4 decades and has peaked the imagination of many with his futuristic designs. Syd Mead's conceptual designs have graced many Hollywood blockbuster hits such as, Blade Runner, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Tron, Aliens, Mission: Impossible III, just to name a few. The light cycles from Tron were originally designed by Mead. Syd Mead had also designed mobile suit mecha for the Turn A Gundam anime, where he was credited as concept designer and mechanical designer.
