MLB UD Classics Mike Piazza - New York Mets:Mike Piazza is the man in the middle for the New York Mets. The superstar catcher suffered a season-threatening injury earlier this year, but has bounced back nicely and is once again hitting the cover off the baseball. It appears the perennial All-Star selection is back and better than ever. Now collectors can enjoy Piazza's powerful swing by purchasing this newly unveiled Bobble-Head Doll entitled ''UD Classics.'' These are the first Upper Deck Bobble-Head Dolls to utilize game-used materials on the bobble-head's base (7.75'' wide x 5'' deep x .5'' high). There are two limited-edition variations to collect of Piazza: 1.) game-used base, numbered to 800; and 2.) game-used base and jersey, numbered to 200. The beautiful wood base sports sequential numbering, Mike's facsimile signature, a gold name plate with the athlete's name, and a special corresponding trading card. The polystone figurine (8'' tall) only adds to the item's collectibility.
