Every great adventure needs a treasure map, and in the movie The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey the map was created by Thror, grandfather of Thorin Oakenshield. The Hobbit An Unexpected Journey Thorin's Map Art Print not only contains the lay of the land, but also detailed instructions. Designed and drawn by Daniel Reeve of the 3 Foot 7 art department that created the original prop for the movie, Thorin's Map measures 16 3/10-inches long x 12 3/5-inches tall, and features die-cut edges that add to the feeling of authenticity. The famous Moon Runes that play an important part in the story have been printed in a layer of high-gloss varnish on the otherwise matte surface.
