Tiny Betsy Redhead Basic Tonner Doll:It's a classic! In 1957, Betsy jumped from the pages of McCall's Magazine into the active hands of her loyal fans as an 8-inch hard plastic doll. Produced by the American Character Doll Company in conjunction with McCall's, this Betsy was an instant hit as a playtime friend! In 2000, the Tonner reintroduced 8-inch Betsy McCall as a high quality doll for play and collecting based on the original Tiny Betsy. Betsy McCall is made from high quality hard plastic with multiple joints and a newly engineered ‘swing-out' arm allow for the doll to raise her arms to the sides. Dolls have blinking eyes and wigged, synthetic redhead mohair hair styles.
