Faced with the Amazon demigod of Themyscira, Paradise Island, known in the world of men as Wonder Woman, uses her mystical bond of truth to immobilize a Parademonius, creature of Darkseid's armies, prepared to unleash her fury in battle against the colossal villain.
Created by the legendary Jack Kirby in 1970, Darkseid seeks the Anti-Life Equation and, in turn, the means to usurp the free will of all life in the universe. A being of unparalleled power and immeasurable intelligence, his divine powers make him not only a threat to our world and its heroes, but to all worlds within reach.
