LEGO Mars Mission

Mars Mission is a LEGO theme that was released in mid-2007. It features astronauts, aliens, and high-tech machinery. It has been cited as "delivering results on par with some of the strongest classic play themes in LEGO history." A new energy source, crystals, has been discovered on the Red Planet. A team of grizzled miners is sent from Earth, but must compete with aliens who also seek the crystals. Mars becomes a battleground for both sides.
