Ratatouille
Ratatouille is a 2007 Academy Award-, Golden Globe-, BAFTA Award-, and Grammy Award-winning animated feature film produced by Pixar and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. It tells the story of Rémy, a rat living in Paris who wants to be a chef but is pressured to do otherwise by the disapproval of his family and the prejudice of humans. The film was the 8th movie produced by Pixar, and was directed by Brad Bird. It was released on June 29, 2007 in the United States, to both critical acclaim and box office success. The title comes from the French peasant dish ratatouille, of which a variation is served in the film, and is a pun on the main character Rémy being a rat.
