Forward March WWII 1944 US Infantry 6-Piece Figure Set:Pay homage to the heroes of World War II with this set of 1944 US Infantry 1:50 scale 6-piece figure set! These highly detailed metal figures are hand-painted, come with collector card and limited edition certificate. The figures measure 1 1/8-inches tall and are expertly detailed.
Invasion of the continent began in the early morning of June 6, 1944. The 9th Infantry hit the Normandy beach on D plus 4, as one of the two US infantry divisions on the beachhead with previous combat experience, a fact fully appreciated by higher commanders and military observers.
The superb range of Forward March figures grows with historical figures and lifelike sets. Once these figures are researched by acknowleged experts, they are sculpted by skilled artists and then spin cast in fine white metal and handpainted to exacting standards.
