Hanna Barbera Birdman Maquette:Hanna-Barbera's classic retro super-hero can now grace your home with this incredible maquette from Toynami! Sculpted by Shin Tanabe, the Birdman Maquette stands 12 inches in height and features the '60s adventurer in a dynamic pose, with his wings dramatically folded around him. Limited to a production of 1,000 pieces, the Birdman Maquette is fully painted and is constructed from cold-cast porcelain. Each maquette is individually numbered.

Background: A former secret agent, Bridman was granted his powers by the Egyptian sun god Ra, and uses them to protect all of mankind from the forces of evil. Headquartered inside a dormant volcano, Birdman and his ally Avenger, a giant eagle, stand ever vigilant, ready to battle injustice wherever it rears its ugly head! Powers and Abilities: Birdman takes his power from the rays of the sun, and can channel this energy into mighty feats of strength, solar ray beams or a solar shield. His huge wings allow him to fly great distances, and a t tremendous speeds. Birdman can contact his trusty partner Avenger via a communicator in his uniform.
