MLB All-Star Babe Ruth Vinyl Figure:It's "The Bambino!" Perhaps the greatest icon in American sports history, George Herman "Babe" Ruth was in a league of his own. Starting out as a pitcher with the Boston Red Sox in 1914, Ruth made the full-time switch to the outfield after the New York Yankees acquired him in 1920. It was in the Bronx where the Baltimore native would leave his indelible mark, leading the Yankees to 4 World Series titles as he sent ball after ball into the blue. For many, many years, "The Babe" held both the single-season record for homeruns (until fellow Yankee Roger Maris hit more in 1961) and the mark for homers in a career (until Hank Aaron passed him in 1974). Salute "The Sultan of Swat" with this marvelous 12-inch tall All-Star Vinyl Figure that depicts the magnificent Hall of Famer in a trademark pose and vintage N.Y. pinstripes.
