Flight From Isengard Wall Plaque:This unique wall plaque is sculpted by WETA Workshop artist, Shaun Bolton and captures Gandalf's escape in stylized relief detail. The plaque also includes two keyhole wall mounts for easy display, and the backside is printed with the artists signature and edition number. Measures 15-inches x 9-inches.
Corrupted by his hunger for power and blinded by pride, Saruman the White has turned from his calling as a counselor and sage to the people of Middle-earth and instead has chosen to embrace the path of conquest and defilement. When Gandalf comes seeking his wisdom he finds the White Wizard in league with the Dark Lord and is imprisoned upon the summit of the Tower of Orthanc. There, Saruman appeals to his old friend to join him and yield to him the One Ring of Power, but Gandalf resists. Calling upon the grace of Gwaihir, the Lord of the Eagles, Gandalf throws himself from the towers edge and flees the great tower of Isengard, to his freedom.
