The surviving citizens of these worlds are forced to flee under the wing of their race''s only surviving warship, a 4,100-foot-long carrier craft named the Galactica.

The original Cylons were a warlike reptilian race that were eventually overtaken by their own technologically advanced androids. After the 1,000 yahren Great War, the 12 worlds of the human also fell before these renegade unfeeling machines. The intelligence of the Cylon Centurion is not as great asthe I-L Series Cylons, so their strategy has been to overwhelm their enemy with large numbers, of whom many will be destroyed. They mindlessly obey the I-L Cylons, such as the Imperious Leader, and, the appropriately named, Lucifer.
