The action movie Fast & Furious from 2001, directed by Rob Cohen and starred by the late Paul Walker and Vin Diesel, started a franchise of 10 movies, a spin-off movie of the series, short movies, a TV show ( Fast & Furious: Spy Racers), video games, and theme parks' attractions both at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Florida. On the plot, a gang led by Dominic "Dom" Toretto uses high-performance cars to hijack trucks transporting expensive electronic equipment and end up being investigated by the undercover cop Brian O'Conner. Brian infiltrates into the street race world to get closer to Dominic. In the sequence of the franchise, strong friendship bonds are consolidated between them, causing Brian to leave the police force and the FBI, and Dominic to recover and act by helping the American government.
